Painted Owls

Painting is always fun! I like to give my students a new experience when I can. For this lesson plan, we used new materials such as Q-tips and the back-end of our paint brushes.

Using only white paint we painted the bottom half of our paper to represent snow .

Then we added some trees and a snowmen

Using our thumbs we made some thumbprints on some of our tree branches

For the details we used Q-tips. We dipped the Q-tips into black paint to make the eyes for the snowmen and owls. We also dotted the background with white paint by using the back -end of the paintbrush.

Great job 😉
